Biometrics provided the answer for touchless checkout. We introduced a plam-reading scanner at the checkout counter. For registered members, a customer simply has to hold their hand over a scanner for about 2-3 seconds to complete their purchase. The scanner reads the lines in your palm (yeah, really!) to identify the customer ID and then match that ID with a credit card already on file in the application.
